- Andre is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned senior executive with more than 18 years of experience in the management consulting, mergers and acquisitions and business start up fields. Andre has worked and lived in many countries including USA, France, Germany, UK, Egypt and Iran.
- Andre's experience has led him to work on large M&A transactions such as the $12 bn merger of Banamex with Citigroup. Andre led large business start ups such the launch of the Deutsche Bank Private Bank in France, the start up of the first "transaction bank" in Germany and the launch of the e-business group of Carr Futures. In 2004, Andre started avance, a Business Valuation and Mergers and Acquisition firm for privately held companies with a focus on the North Bay. Andre is helping several North Bay start ups raise investment capital from high net worth individuals, angel groups, venture capitalists and private equity funds across the globe. Andre is also advising large European companies on strategic acquisitions or de-novo operation opportunities in the Bay Area. More recently Andre helped Telltale Games of San Rafael raise $10 Mio in three rounds of equity and debt funding.
- Prior to avance Andre launched, managed and sold a software appraisal company. Prior to that, Andre worked for Citigroup International in New York where he was responsible for Strategy and Corporate development where he focused on strategy and M&A in Asia, Latin America and Central Europe. Prior to Citigroup Andre was a senior principal and a member of the West Coast leadership team at A.T. Kearney in the Financial Institution Group in San Francisco and Munich. Prior to joining A.T. Kearney Andre was a Management Associate at Citibank Germany where he worked directly for the CEO on risk management and company wide restructuring projects. Andre started his professional career at Avery International as a worldwide export manager.
- Andre is an adviser on several boards including Telltale Games, the leader in episodic gaming, Excelize the leader in knowledge process outsourcing and Easyplanet the developer of Cross Communities Network Platform. Andre earned an MBA in corporate finance and strategy from the Anderson School at UCLA and a MS in finance from the Business School of Amiens, France. Andre speaks three languages including English, German and French. Andre lives in Marin County with his wife and three children.
