- Steven Potter is a Principal at Avance. Steven focuses on assisting clients in developing their business concepts and achieving their goals. Steven has extensive experience in strategy development and business plan execution. His primary expertise is with companies in the Hi-Tech, Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Manufacturing sectors.
- Steve has over 23 years of experience in management consulting, business start-ups, business development, and managing growth companies. Over his professional career Steven has advised executive management of small and large global companies on business strategy, strategic marketing, intellectual property strategy, operational improvement, and organizational development. Throughout his career, Steve has been both a consultant as well as business manager involved in mergers and acquisitions, merger integrations, business start-ups, business divestitures and restructurings, and process improvements.
- Prior to joining Avance, Steven was Vice President Supply Chain Consulting helping to establish an innovative consulting practice at Broadlane, an Inc. magazine 500 fastest growing company. Prior to Broadlane, Steve was a senior management consultant with A.T. Kearney. Prior to that, he was involved in life sciences business and product development for Chiron Corporation (now Novartis - Emeryville).
- Steven received an MBA from the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley concentrating on Strategy and Finance. In addition, Steve has a B.S. in Physiology from U.C. Davis. Steve is a Bay Area native, having grown up in Marin County and currently living in the East Bay Hills with his wife and daughter.
